Player Ratings; Hajduk Split (A) | Who impressed in Split?

So Ronald Koemans Blue and White Army make it safely into the group stages of the Europa League. There had to be an Everton trademark panic, but what would life be without it. Here’s my ratings for the boys in blue;

Pickford 9 – A great low save, stopped a penalty, and at times took the form of Pirlo. I think he tips Mane to the best player in the weeerld.

Baines 7. Solid, intelligent, and as per a great haircut.

Williams 6 – Where’s the Van Dijk money, Farhad?

Keane 8 – Great performance from the beautiful Mancunian wardrobe. An absolute superb centre half.

Martina 8 – It’s been hard adapting to life without Seamus, but despite some traditional unwarranted abuse from the Goodison faithful, he can do a job.

Schniderlin 6- Maybe a bit leggy from Monday. Some great passing, but not his greatest performance.

Besic 5 – Put it this way I’ll be sleeping in my 2014/2015 Gareth Barry shirt tonight.

Sigurdsson 9 – Well, well, well. A bollock naked Icelandic thunderclap ensued with the goal. That aside you can tell the lad was born with a footballing brain. He’s not even match fit, so I’m erect for a fully fit Gylfi.

Lookman 5 – The kid looked lost. Nothing more to say.

Calvert-Lewin 7 – Great performance from the human being who took the form of a battering ram in a previous life.

Rooney 8 – When on the ball, he’s still got the magic. It seems the only thing he’s really lost is the pace. Big season ahead.

SUBS Lennon 6- Made some intelligent runs, but the lads been out of the game for a while so we’ll give him a break.

Davies 7 – A cameo role, but some lovely passing and movement from the Ketwig Kaiser ©

So we head into the group stage relatively unscathed. Apart from the reputation of Mohammed Besic. FC Sexy’s European tour. Up the Toffee’s
