Manchester United have their eyes set on Defender Jarrad Branthwaite this summer according to The Telegraph
The 21 year old has been one of Everton’s standout performers this season and has continously got rave reviews throughout the season. The Defender was recently called up to the Senior England National Team for the first time for their games against Brazil and Belgium but was left on the bench leaving fans puzzled.
Mike McGrath of The Telegraph has said that Manchester United are looking at Branthwaite ahead of a possible move this summer as they are keen to improve their defensive options this summer and deem it a priority.
Branthwaite has been linked away numerous times already this season to Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City and even Real Madrid so it comes as no surprise that another link has come out after this recent International Break.
Toffee Blues says;
3/5 – Manchester United are long standing admirers of Branthwaite and after his impressive season it doesn’t surprise anyone that they want to sign the Defender. Everton will likely have a big question to face in the summer on if they cash in on Jarrad Branthwaite now or try to retain him. Everton are strapped for cash and have their financial issues. A sale of one of our key stars is likely this summer, the only questions are which player will it be, to which team we sell and just how much money can Everton get.
