Everton have reportedly made Leicester City Midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi a proposal to sign for the toffees this Summer according to Belgian Journalist, Sacha Tavolieri
Tavolieri might be a name that sounds familiar to Evertonians as he is the journalist that broke the news that Everton were interested in Amadou Onana when it seemed set he would move to West Ham.
This isn’t the first time Everton have been linked to a move for Ndidi as only the other week the Nigerian was linked via TuttoJuve, a link that seemed a lot less credible than this.
As we know Wilfred Ndidi’s Leicester contract expires this Summer and will be a free agent and has a host of clubs enquiring for his services.
Leicester City have just been crowned Champions of the Championship with Ndidi being a key starter for the Foxes. In an ideal world I think Leicester are hoping that Ndidi will sign a new deal with them but with more solid Premier League sides and also European teams interested they could struggle
Toffee Blues says:
3/5 – With a more credible and trustworthy link to signing Wilfred Ndidi it looks like Everton do hold some interest in the Nigerian. The blues will be scouring the free transfer market this Summer and a move for Ndidi makes sense if Amadou Onana is to leave for a big money move. Maybe one story we should be keeping a closer eye on…
