League Two:

Billy Crellin- Accrington Stanley- 23rd out of 24

Accrington Stanley Goalkeeper Billy Crellin

Accrington enjoyed their first win of the season on Saturday, beating fellow strugglers Morecambe 2-1, with Crellin between the sticks for the second consecutive game.

The goalkeeper dislodged Michael Kelly from the side last week, and retained his place for this crunch clash, as the hosts rose from the foot of the table.

The 24-year-old was denied a clean sheet by Ben Tollitt’s late free-kick, which set up a nervy ending at the Crown Ground.

Crellin was back on the bench in midweek in the EFL Trophy.

John Doolan’s side travel to Gillingham next.

Jenson Metcalfe- Chesterfield- 11th out of 24

Metcalfe was a late substitution in the Spireites’ 2-2 draw to Walsall.

The loanee was introduced on 64 minutes, with Paul Cook’s side a goal behind.

A draw for Chesterfield leaves them 11th, with Notts County at home to come next.

Francis Okoronkwo- Salford City- 15th out of 24

Okoronkwo was brought on with 20 minutes to go, as Salford recorded a late win over AFC Wimbledon.

Junior Luamba’s 84th minute strike was enough to secure all three points for Karl Robinson’s side, climbing the table to 15th with Grimsby up next.

League One:

Harry Tyrer- Blackpool- 10th out of 24

Harry Tyrer out on loan at Blackpool

The Seasiders dropped to 10th in the table following Saturday’s 2-0 defeat to Mansfield Town.

A Will Evans brace sealed Steve Bruce’s first defeat as manager, with Tyrer helpless to prevent the forward’s first-half double.

Blackpool’s proposed trip to Bristol Rovers has also been postponed due to international call-ups.

The goalkeeper will be back in action against Barnsley next weekend.

Tyler Onyango- Stockport County- 6th out of 24

Onyango was absent from Dave Challinor’s matchday squad for the second successive week, as Stockport drew 0-0 to Wigan Athletic.

This weekend’s scheduled game against Wycombe Wanderers has been postponed with the Hatters having three senior players called up by their respective national sides.

Championship:

Mason Holgate- West Bromwich Albion- 4th out of 24

Mason Holgate Jamaica

Holgate was again an unused substitute, with the defender still awaiting his first Baggies appearance since re-joining the club on deadline day.

The 27-year-old was called up to the Jamaican national team for the first time this week, however, having been included in Steve McClaren’s squad for games against Nicaragua and Honduras. Holgate made his Jamaica debut in their 2-0 win against Nicaragu, Holgate came off the bench in 75th minute.

West Brom face Oxford United next, hoping to end a three-game winless run at the Kassam Stadium.

Scottish Premiership:

Elijah Campbell- Ross County- 7th out of 12

Campbell was again selected at left wing-back for Ross County’s clash at home to Celtic.

Don Cowie’s side were on the end of a narrow defeat, losing 2-1 to the league leaders, with the 20-year-old loanee playing the full 90 minutes.

Eli was called up to the England Elite Squad for this international break and made his England U20 debut against Italy U20. Campbell came off the bench in the 80th minute to help secure a 2-1 win

Ross County are set to take on St. Johnstone on Saturday.

Ligue 1:

Neal Maupay- Marseille- 3rd out of 18

Maupay was sent off in Marseille’s 1-1 home draw to bottom of the league Angers, on a disappointing evening for Roberto Di Zerbi’s men.

The striker, who scored one goal in 32 Everton appearances, was awarded a second yellow card just three minutes after his initial booking, levelling the playing field following the away side’s red card just four minutes prior.

The 27-year-old will be ineligible for selection in Marseille’s next game against Montpellier.

Challenger Pro League:

Reece Welch- Deinze- 6th out of 16

Welch was on the bench for Deinze’s 3-1 defeat to Patro-Eisden, with the defender still yet to feature for his new club.

The 20-year-old will be hoping for his debut against Jong Genk on Saturday.
