Another disappointing week for Everton but let us see how our lads out on loan done.
Belgian Pro League
Henry Onyekuru – Anderlecht
Henry scored the only goal in Anderlechts 1-0 victory over Standard Liege, the striker pounced on a loose ball to score in the 89th minute before being booked, just a minute later. It was Henry’s 5th goal this season, a goal that leaves the Belgian outlets 7th after 9 games.
Sky Bet Championship
Liam Walsh – Birmingham City
Liam was again not in the 18 man squad for Birmingham as they where demolished 6-1 by Hull City at the KCOM, leaving Birmingham in the relegation zone.
Joe Williams – Barnsley
Joe played the entire game as Barnsley won away for the first time all season, 1-3 at Millwall. Joe had another superb game for the Oakwell side, deemed to be ‘tidy’ and ‘class’ Joe received a 7/10 for his performance, an important win for Barnsley, leaving them 18th in the table.
Kieran Dowell – Nottingham Forest
Kieran is now beginning to cement a regular place in the XI at Nottingham Forest as he started for the fourth game in a row. Kieran played 80 minutes and scored what turned out to be the winner midway through the first half, in the 2-1 victory over high-flying Sheffield United. Kieran scored a superb effort from the edge of the box just 8 minutes after Jason Cummings cancelled out former Blue, John Lundstram’s opener. Kieran was given a 7/10 rating and was deemed to be ‘very lively. The result leaves Forest 13th.
Antonee Robinson – Bolton Wanderers
Antonee played the final 5 minutes as Bolton remained winless as they fell to a 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa at Villa Park. Bolton remained 24th.
Matthew Pennington – Leeds United
After sitting out of 11 games through injury, Matthew’s return to the Leeds XI nightmare a day to forget, he had a performance to forget in Leeds’ 3-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday. Matthew let Gary Hooper free for both of his goals and was made to look like a Centre-Back who had not played for months. He was given a 4/10, as Leeds slipped to 5th in the table.
Brendan Galloway and Tyias Browning – Sunderland
Brendan once again did not make the 18 in Sunderland’s 2-2 draw at Preston
Tyias completed 90 minutes at Centre-Back and recieved a 6/10 for his efforts.Tyias was deemed to have a strong performance. Sunderland fell to 23rd in the table.
Sky Bet League 2
Conor Grant – Crewe Alexandra
Conor played the final 12 minutes in Crewe Alexandra’s 1-0 defeat to Covenrty, a result leaving Crewe 19th.
So not a bad week for some of the lads out on loan with Dowell and Onyekuru scoring. Here’s hoping for an even better week for all the lads that are out on loan.
