League Two:
Billy Crellin- Accrington Stanley- 21st out of 24
Crellin marked his 20th consecutive appearance with a disappointing 3-0 home defeat to Notts County, as Accrington’s wretched run of form continues.
The goalkeeper was helpless to prevent the hosts from ending their run of one win in 12 matches, with just five points now separating John Doolan’s side and the relegation zone.
The Reds travel to promotion-chasing Crewe Alexandra on Saturday.
Jenson Metcalfe- Chesterfield- 10th out of 24
Metcalfe’s injury absence reached its 15th game this weekend, with the midfielder’s frustrating spell on the sidelines continuing, as the Spireites drew 1-1 at home to Grimsby Town.
Chesterfield host Port Vale next.
Francis Okoronkwo- Salford City- 7th out of 24
Salford dropped out of the automatic promotion spots after their first defeat in six matches against Fleetwood Town.
The visitors sprung a huge shock at the Peninsula Stadium, securing all three points with two quick-fire goals inside the opening 15 minutes.
Okoronkwo remains out injured and is unlikely to be involved when the Ammies face Cheltenham Town next.
League One:
Harry Tyrer- Blackpool- 14th out of 24
Tyrer played a pivotal role in Blackpool’s home draw with high-flying Huddersfield Town, producing an heroic save to deny the Terriers an away-day comeback.
The Seasiders led 2-0 at the break, before being pegged back by two goals in three minutes immediately after the interval.
And the collapse would’ve been complete had it not been for an excellent stop from the 23-year-old, springing to his left to thwart Tom Lees’ close-range header at the death, leaving everyone inside Bloomfield Road- not least the veteran centre-half- stunned.
The goalkeeper will be back in action at Exeter City on Saturday.
Championship:
Mason Holgate- West Bromwich Albion- 7th out of 24
Holgate featured twice this week as the Baggies dropped out of the play-off spots, having picked up just one point against Stoke City and Middlesbrough.
New manager Tony Mowbray’s second stint at the Hawthorns began with a home draw against the Potters, before defeat at the Riverside on Tuesday saw Blackburn Rovers leapfrog Albion into sixth.
The defender is set to face Portsmouth next.
Scottish Premiership:
Elijah Campbell- Ross County- 10th out of 12
Campbell found himself on the wrong end of a cup upset, as Ross County bowed out of the Scottish Cup Fourth Round to second division Livingston.
The defender was subbed off at half-time with County trailing by one, before watching on as Andrew Shinnie sent the visitors through with an 119th minute winner.
Campbell will look to rectify the result this weekend, at home to Hibernian.
Ligue 1:
Neal Maupay- Marseille- 2nd out of 18
Maupay was dragged off at half-time after a poor display in Marseille’s frustrating draw with Strasbourg.
The striker, who scored one goal in 32 appearances for Everton, travels to Nice next.
