The 2024/25 season will mark Everton Football Club’s final campaign at Goodison Park, the sporting arena which has been the Club’s spiritual home for 132 years.
To celebrate the landmark occasion, Season Ticket Members and Official Members will be able to commemorate in print their part in this historic moment in the Club’s history.
An official publication is being released to mark the departure from Goodison, available exclusively to Season Ticket Members and Official Members.
‘Farewell to Goodison – 100 Memories of the Grand Old Lady’ will reflect on the most significant moments in the stadium’s history – and provide Season Ticket Members and Official Members with the chance to include their own personal message and tribute to friends, family and Goodison Park.
The option to add a message means each copy will be unique to the owner – and make a perfect keepsake, or gift for a fellow Blue.
From today [Friday 28 June], all 2024/25 Season Ticket and Official Members will be able to secure a pre-order of their unique, personalised copy of this limited edition, exclusive publication.
‘Farewell to Goodison’ – available from October – relives 100 of the most memorable occasions in Goodison’s history.
Some will be obvious – Dixie Dean’s record breaking 60th league goal, Sammy Chedgzoy’s revolutionary rule-setting corner kick, the famous Bayern Munich night and the afternoon an astonished TV audience was advised to: ‘Remember the name!’
But others will be less well known, while some have become shrouded in the mists of time.
All, however, are enormously significant.
There will be World Cup matches, including a semi-final, a world title boxing bill, FA Cup finals, not one but two Royal visits, a starring role in a Rocky movie, and many more iconic moments detailed.
Season Ticket and Official Members will be contacted directly by the Club via email with details of how they can have a personalised message printed inside their very own unique copy. The book will be published in October and delivered to all fans who complete a pre-order. The exclusive publication is priced at £25 +P&P.
