Player Ratings | West Ham 0-2 Everton

It was a brilliant away win for the dominant Blues, let’s take a look at how we rated each player in our 2-0 victory over West Ham.

Jordan Pickford – 7

Through no fault of his own, he had absolutely nothing to do. Could be a 10, could be a 6; it was just that kind of a game.

Seamus Coleman – 8

Neverending danger down the right hand side. Our captain got himself an assist for Bernard’s goal and his final product was consistnetly brilliant all game. Rolling back the years with Lucas Digne down the other wing in a dominant performance from start to finish.

Kurt Zouma – 8

Got himself the opening goal and was comfortable the whole game. Didn’t have the easy job of being marked by Issa Diop but was constantly dangerous from corners. If there were any doubts in Marcel Brands’ mind about making the Frenchman a permanent signing in the summer, Zouma has just proved himself.

Michael Keane – 7

Another player with little to do but did it perfectly when called upon. Followed up from his first England goal with a confident display for the Blues.

Lucas Digne – 7

Not the finest of performances from the Frenchman but his dangerous crosses to the back post caused problems all game. Added to his assists this season for Zouma’s goal. Coleman and Digne caused so many problems for West Ham for 90 minutes.

Idrissa Gueye – 7

One of Everton’s more consistent performers this season and today was no different. Won all of the challenges presented to him and silenced any potential West Ham assaults. If he stays in the summer, Gueye can become a cult-hero for the Blues and poses such quality for only £7.2m.

Andre Gomes – 9

Rolls. Royce. Gomes appears to have the ability to create time and space where there seems to be none. You’ll struggle to find many better passers of the ball for the value he appears to be available for and this performance only highlighted the qualities he has demonstrated in a Blue shirt.

Richarlison – 7

Was unlukcy not to get on the score sheet as the Brazilian saw his bullet header rocket off the bar towards the end of the game but looked a threat the whole game. Seemed to tire towards the final minutes but another decent performance from our number 30.

Gylfi Sigurdsson – 8

Has really shown his quality this season with 16 goal contributions (12G 4A) and his original fee seems fair now. Does brilliantly to link the midfield and the attack and has been brilliant. Quietly controls the game throughout and his linkup with Bernard and Richarlison caused problems all game.

Bernard – 9 MOTM

My Man of The Match, BT Sport’s Man of the Match and your Man of the Match. Also, he was free. Seems to have the ball glued to his feet at all times and rinsed West Ham defenders more times than I can begin to count. What an addition to the team by Marco Silva and adds the ability to beat a man with ease. Got his first league goal for the Blues on a plate from Coleman and fully deserved all the praise coming his way.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin – 7

Another performance running himself into the ground without a goal to show for his efforts. Wasted a few opportunities when he needed more composure but that’s to be expected from such a young talent. A real asset to the team with his constant pressure and runs causing problems to back lines everywhere.

Tom Davies, Cenk Tosun, Theo Walcott – 6

All came on when the game was won, didn’t do anything wrong. Cenk stayed offside a few times but oh well
