According to reports coming out of Spain, Andre Gomes is “very close” to completing a permanent transfer but it might not be Everton.
This comes from Catalan newspaper Sport and they state that a deal for Gomes to leave Barcelona is “very close”. Everton are willing to pay €25-30M for Gomes but an unnamed club also have interest in the Portuguese midfielder.
Everton are apparently the “best placed” club to complete a deal for the 25 year old.
This all could just be a tactic of course to put pressure on Everton to get a deal done as soon as possible.
Either way we really want to see Andre in an Everton shirt next season
