Despite the emergence of rumours linking Ligue 1 star Malcom to Everton, another outlet links Adnan Januzaj with a transfer. This report comes from Belgian Newspaper Het Nieuwsblad and it claims that Everton have contatcted the player in what could be a hit-or-miss deal. Januzaj garnered lofty potential after emerging onto the scene at Manchester United but the winger has never come close to capturing the same form after unsuccessful loan spells with Borussia Dortmund and Sunderland.
Many English fans will remember Januzaj’s impressive appearances under David Moyes’ doomed spell in Manchester but were reminded of his talents as he scored against England to see Belgium go through top of group G in the 2018 World Cup. The 23-year-old is believed to be happy at Real Sociedad on a contract that runs until 2022 and due to the lack of attention that this rumour is getting, there is probably a lack of credibility behind it.
