Croatian Star to Goodsion?

Everton have been linked with a move for 24-year-old Frankfurt player Ante Rebic after his impressive form in the World Cup so far. Rebic scored a crucial goal against Argentina that saw Croatia through to the first knockout round whilst almost sending Argentina out of the competition.

Rebic spent the 2017/18 campaign on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt from Fiorentina and the German outfit decided to activate their clause to buy the winger on a permanent deal. It is now, however, understood that the club will listen to offers for the Croatian international in excess of £26 million.

Rebic’s excellent form in the World Cup has seen his market value increase dramatically and if Everton are to make a move, this will probably be the best fee they can get for the player. Rebic has shown an ability to finish, against Argentina, and could offer greater danger down the left-hand side as opposed to Yannick Bolasie, who struggled for form on his return from injury. Lookman has apparently expressed a desire to leave the Blues this summer so without the young Englishman, Everton would lack serious depth and quality on the left wing.
