Everton are monitoring Fenerbache Left Back, Jayden Oosterwolde according CaughtOffside. The Dutchman joined the Turkish side back in the Summer of 2023 for a fee of €6 million.
Fellow Premier League side, West Ham United and Itlian giants, Napoli are also monitoring Oosterwolde.
The report states that West Ham have already held talks with the Dutchman’s agent for further information on the player.
Everton’s Left Back options lay solely at the door of Vitalii Mykolenko. The Ukranian is a main stay in the Everton Defence and is only out of the starting 11 due to injury. Ashley Young who can fill in at Left Back is close to signing a new 1 year contract extension with the club.
Fenerbache reportedly have set a price tag of £21 Million for Oosterwolde.
Toffee Blues says;
1/5 – With Vitalii Mykolenko and Everton’s financial situation it seems VERY unlikely that Everton will spend a good chunk or likely all of their money on Oosterwolde. Everton are not desperate for a new Left Back due to Mykolenko’s reliablilty so I could only see them dipping into the market for a younger understury for Mykolenko to add a diferent option to the team if needed. Chalk this rumour up as an Agent pushing his client’s name to get a big payday.
