According to numerous sources Everton seem set to sign Rangers Right Back, Nathan Patterson with the announcement being imminent.
Reports originally came out not long after the 3-2 defeat to Brighton at Goodison Park on Sunday, with much relief to the Everton fans. The sight of Jonjoe Kenny at Right Wing Back and veteran Seamus Coleman starting at Left Wing Back definitely put some worry into the hearts of probably every Evertonian.
With the likes of Fabrizio Romano, Paul Joyce and Farhad Moshiri’s good friend Jim White all reporting in the last 24 hours that a deal for the 20 year old Scot seems to be practically completed. The Daily Record in Scotland today reported that Patterson is on Merseyside and has already undergone his Everton medical and could be announced tomorrow.
If you are wanting to learn more about our soon to be new recruit keep an eye out on The Toffee Blues YouTube Channel over the next day or so as we will be speaking with The Athletics’ Rangers correspondent Jordan Campbell.
Toffee Blues says;
5/5 – This one looks like it seems certain to happen after all the heavy reporting over the past 48 hours. Everton have needed to sign a Right Back over the past 3 years now to ease the pressure off Seamus Coleman and to find that player who can take over that Right Back spot for the next 5+ years hopefully. Patterson appears to be the man. Keep your eye on Twitter over the next day or so.
