Sources close to Football insider have claimed that Brands will now turn his attention to signing Lyon winger Bertrand Traore, following the Blues’ capture of Andre Gomes.
The fee is rumoured to be in the region of £25 million for the former Chelsea player.
Traore fits the mould for what Silva and Brands appear to be looking for, being left-footed but featuring predominantly on the right wing.
If Everton were to make a move for the Burkina-Faso winger, it could be the end of the road for a another player in the squad. It is rumoured that Silva will look to move Henry Onyekuru on as he is happy with the depth of wingers who use their right foot.
