Everton are interested in the possibility of bringing Portuguese midfielder Andre Gomes to the club in a deadline day swoop, according to the Daily Mail.
According to reports, it’s unclear what kind of move it will be (permanent or loan) at this time for Gomes, who is deemed surplus to requirements at Barcelona like teammate Yerry Mina.
Gomes was close to joining Tottenham last season, before the deadline passed. The player has wanted to play in the Premier League for over a year according to sources.
