Major Departures Incoming?

Everton fans have long been calling for the exit of £30 million flop Yannick Bolasie and West Ham may be the answer to this problem. The London club are allegedly interested in the DR Congo international and the Guardian have reported that the left winger could act as an alternative to Felipe Anderson if the deal for the Brazilian is to fall through. Bolasie has failed to capture the hearts of Everton fans since his return from a long-term injury and with replacements such as Emil Forsberg and Ante Rebic being linked with a summer move to Goodison, it is no surprise that his Everton career is coming to an end.

As well as this, Ashley Williams has been lined up to join Gary Rowett’s Stoke City following their relegation to the Championship. It is, however, understood that Williams’ £75,000 per week wages are putting off several other Championship and could prove a stumbling block in any potential deal for the Welshman to leave Goodison this summer. Williams didn’t make an appearance for Everton since his sending off against Burnley when he was given the captain’ armband by Sam Allardyce.

And finally, Morgan Schneiderlin’s move to Marseille is gaining more momentum as days go on and an exit for the Frenchman is potentially imminent since Marco Silva deemed him surplus to requirement. Silva and Brands have already demonstrated an element of ruthlessness in forcing dead wood out of the club in a summer that has already seen the exit of Ramiro Funes Mori and Wayne Rooney to Villarreal and D.C United respectively.
