Ronald Koeman’s time at Everton has now come to an end as Everton only minutes ago confirmed his departure from the club.
Lacklustre performances and disappointing results cost him the job and yesterdays 5-2 loss Arsenal was the final starw for Moshiri and co.
The question which will be on Evertonian lips now is, what now? Who will be his replacement?
That we cannot tell you. The current favourite for the job is David Unsworth at 9/4 and the list than goes on from David Moyes, to Sean Dyche, to Sam Allardyce, Chris Coleman and then the man I think we should be doing everything to get Carlo Ancelotti.
The only one I would possibly accept besides Ancelotti would be Unsworth. The rhino has been doing great work with the U23’s but that is the U23’s it’s a completely different barrel of fish compared to the Premier League. I will accept him as interim though and we will see how it goes from there.
At the end of the day though Ancelotti should be our man. While it might be difficult to persuade the Italian he out of the names said there is the clear standout. The others just aren’t good enough.
We are Everton we cannot accept mediocrity!
