It looks like one guy might not be coming to Everton in Marco Silva as according to numerous newspapers like The Independent he is lined up to take the Benfica job in his home country of Portugal.
More recently he has also been linked to the vacant managers job at Southampton but reports this morning have stated he is not on their shortlist.
Silva was the Moshiri wanted to lead Everton’s new revolution after the slump of Ronald Koeman and was even willing to pay Watford in excess of £10 Million for him. But after Everton’s suppose interest Watford’s results and form dropped causing Silva to get the sack. Watford then went onto blame Everton for the drop of form.
Some Evertonians believe that we could possibly of already agreed a deal with Silva to take over once Sam Allardyce is giving the boot. We’ll have to keep an eye on this one with the end of the season looming.
