A quick rating of the players performances from today’s loss to Tottenham.
Pickford – 7.
The only one who can hold their head up. Prevented a cricket score.
Baines – 6.
Tried in vain but just couldn’t make his usual impact. Tried to orchestrate what little attacking threat we held.
Williams – 5.
Should be used in a case study presented to Moshiri labelled “Why We Should Break The Bank For Van Dijk.”
Keane – 6.
An unusual wobbly game. Looked on edge.
Martina – 6.
Seems we’ve found a new scapegoat then. Pathetic. As a full back myself I can sympathise with not being supported when 3 opposition players attack em.
Gueye – 6
Battled, but was ultimately stifled in a crowded centre midfield.
Schneiderlin – 5
Sorry? He played?
Sigurdsson – 6
Couldn’t make an impact, or produce his usual magic.
Rooney – 6
The effort was there, but was incredibly isolated.
Klaasen – 5.
The lad is still evidently adjusting to the pace of the Premier League. Flashes of what he’s capable of though.
Sandro – 6.
Ran around a lot. Which is what we want as a striker according to some. Still adapting however. Made some good runs.
Subs:
Davies – 6
Unfair to judge given his entrance into such a farce, but little impact made.
Calvert-Lewin – 6
Left adrift up top. Showed hunger though.
